D’origine tahitienne, Titaua Peu est l’écrivaine en résidence au Randell Cottage de janvier à mai 2025.
Ses écrits portent sur la société polynésienne, l’impact de la colonisation et la place des femmes. Elle est l’une des principales voix francophones de la littérature du Pacifique. A travers ses œuvres, elle exprime les réalités de son pays, loin des clichés illusoires. Titaua profite de son séjour (en résidence/en Nouvelle-Zélande) pour partager son point de vue et son travail grâce à des rencontres au sein des Alliances françaises :

Of Tahitian origin, Titaua Peu is the writer-in-residence at the Randell Cottage from January to May 2025. Her writing focuses on Polynesian society, the impact of colonisation, and the role of women. She is one of the leading Francophone voices in Pacific literature. Through her work, she conveys the realities of her country—far from the usual clichés and romanticised portrayals.
