Olivier Bleys

Olivier Bleys has published some thirty books: novels, essays, comics, graphic novels and futurology, mainly with Gallimard and Albin Michel.
Translated into eleven languages, his work has won him sixteen literary prizes, including two from the Académie française and the Grand Prix du Roman de la SGDL (Société des Gens de Lettres). His novel Discours d'un arbre sur la fragilité des hommes (Albin Michel, 2015) was shortlisted for the Prix Goncourt and shortlisted for the Prix Goncourt des lycéens. He is an Officier des Arts et des Lettres.
Olivier Bleys also writes about music, one of his earliest sources of inspiration. He is also a lecturer in French and English, artistic director of book fairs, trainer and facilitator of face-to-face and online writing workshops. An avid walker, he has developed a consulting business in walking activities, creating multimedia walking books on the Internet.
