Context

Auckland has a reputation for being one of the world's most liveable cities due to its stunning antural enviornment, its high levels of education, and vibrant culture.

Welcomed by AUT's Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies - Te Ara Auaha, the resident is housed in a flat on campus in the centre of the city, close to parks and a short walk to the waterfront.

What to expect

Te Ataata is a full-time, 6-week to 8-week residency where the resident has the opportunity to work alongside university peers on interdisciplinary arts-science research, and take part in seminars workshops, public events, conferences, and media interviews.

The resident is provided with a return airfare from their home base, a weekly stipend, accommodation and full access to AUT facilities, expertise and materials.
