Studio Antoine Bertin is based in Paris, France, and on the island of Alicudi in Italy, working across Europe and internationally.

During his time in Auckland, Antoine will work on a project aimed at developing relationships between aquatic and human species through underwater research and creative practice.

In collaboration with the Data Science department at AUT and Dr. Lorenzo Garcia (biomechanical engineering and medical technology | AUT), they will design prototypes for acoustic communication interfaces, proposed conversations with underwater species, intended to imagine future sustainable relationships with the ocean.
